The 10th Iams Clinical Nutrition Symposium focused on 'Advances in Puppy and Kitten Health Care' and world-class speakers presented their most up to date practical information that can be implemented into daily clinical work, including topics such as paedodontics, behavioural advice, medical health care and nutrition, nutrition and cognitive function in puppies.

This Clinical Nutrition Symposium provided an opportunity for both clinicians and researchers to come together and to share the most recent knowledge and provide first hand information for the participating veterinarian.

For those colleagues who could not attend this symposium our professional camera team has captured this event for you on a DVD to allow everyone access to the data and presentations.

This innovative CD includes a selection of more than 60 rare and frequent, benign and malignant lung diseases, and gives information on incidence/epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, molecular genetics as well as clinical presentation and prognosis of each disease. It contains over 300 endoscopic, radiologic and histologic images.
The user is provided with textbook information, e-training, and e-learning as well as access to direct on-line medline search on each topic, internet connections to static DNA measurements, (euroquant), expert consultation in pathology (UICC-TPCC, iPATH), collection of rare lung diseases, and the electronic journal of pathology and histology.
The clinical pathologist will find fast assistance in difficult diagnostic cases and access to consult international experts, as well as much useful clinical data. The CD may also serve as a guide for the analysis of histomorphological images, or be used to check one’s diagnostic knowledge. Researchers will find much new information about aspects of a disease not yet solved. The automated access to the medline library offers an easy upgrade of the latest publications.
